Welcome to Fexo Keyboard — the most powerful translator keyboard for Android. At Fexo FZC LLC, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application ("the App"), which allows you to type, translate across 59 languages, customize with 57 themes, and express yourself with 15 unique font styles.

 Privacy-first design: Fexo Keyboard processes all typing and translation on your device using Google ML Kit — a fully on-device translation engine. No messages, keystrokes, or translated content are ever uploaded, stored on our servers, or shared with third parties. What you type stays on your device.

By using Fexo Keyboard, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

Information We Collect

We are committed to minimal data collection. Fexo Keyboard does not require accounts, and we never collect personally identifiable information unless strictly necessary for functionality.

Information You Provide

No Account Needed: We do not require sign-ups, emails, or passwords to use the app.
Typed Content: Fexo Keyboard does not log, store, or transmit anything you type. All keyboard input is processed locally on your device only.
Translation Data: All translations are performed on-device via Google ML Kit. No text is sent to external servers for translation.

 Keyboard Data: Fexo Keyboard does not collect keystrokes, typed messages, passwords, or any text you enter. Our keyboard operates as a standard input method editor (IME) and all translation processing happens entirely on-device using Google ML Kit — no internet connection is required for translation.

How We Use Your Information

To provide keyboard and translation functionality: Deliver core features including typing, on-device translation, themes, and font styles using local processing only.
To improve the App: Aggregate analytics to understand which language pairs, themes, and features are popular, and to fix crashes faster.
To serve relevant ads: The free version displays ads via Google AdMob. Ad identifiers (not keyboard data) may be used to show relevant ads.
To ensure security: Monitor for potential abuse or technical vulnerabilities.

We do NOT: Read, log, or transmit your keystrokes or messages. Sell personal information. Access typed content for any purpose. Track your location. Use keyboard data for advertising profiling.

Data Storage & Security

On-Device First: All keyboard input, translation processing, theme preferences, font selections, and language pair settings are stored exclusively on your device. We maintain no remote database containing your typed content or personal preferences.

ML Kit Translation Models: Google ML Kit translation models are downloaded to your device and run fully offline. Once downloaded, translation requires no internet connection and no data leaves your device.

Security Practices: We follow industry best practices including encrypted data transmission where applicable, secure API communication for crash reporting only, and regular security reviews.

Retention: Since all personal data lives on your device, you can clear app data or uninstall the App to permanently remove all information at any time.

App Permissions

Fexo Keyboard requests only the permissions necessary to deliver its keyboard, translation, and customization features. Below is a full breakdown:

Permission	Why It's Required
Input Method (IME)	Core permission for Fexo to function as your keyboard. Required to receive keystrokes and display the keyboard UI. No keystroke data is stored or transmitted.
Internet Access	Used to download ML Kit translation language model packs on first use, load ads (free version), and send anonymous crash reports. Never used to transmit typed content.
Storage Access	Required to save downloaded language model files and user theme preferences locally on your device.
Notifications	Optional — used only to notify you when a new language pack download is complete or when a new theme is available.
Billing	Required to process Premium subscription purchases securely through Google Play Billing. No payment information is handled by Fexo directly.

 Keyboard Permission Transparency: As a keyboard app, Fexo has access to the text you type in order to display it on screen — this is the fundamental nature of how all keyboard apps work on Android. Fexo does not log, store, transmit, or analyze any text you type. All permissions can be revoked at any time in your device's system settings.

Third-Party Services

We use carefully selected third-party tools to maintain app quality and deliver features:

Google ML Kit Translation: On-device translation engine. All processing happens locally — no text is sent to Google servers for translation. ML Kit Terms

No keystroke logging SDKs, no cross-app tracking SDKs, and no data brokers. What you type is yours — always.

Your Rights

Depending on your region (GDPR, CCPA, UAE PDPL, etc.), you have rights over your data. Since all user-generated content is stored locally:

Right to Access / Deletion: Simply uninstall the app or clear app data via device settings to delete all stored preferences, downloaded language models, and history.
Right to Withdraw Consent: Disable any permission individually in Android system settings at any time without fully disabling the app.
Opt-Out of Ads Personalization: Reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your Google account settings.
Opt-Out of Analytics: Contact us to opt out of aggregate usage analytics collection.
Premium Users: Premium subscribers can manage or cancel their subscription directly through Google Play at any time.
No Discrimination: We do not penalize users who exercise their privacy rights.

Children's Privacy

Fexo Keyboard is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will ensure data is promptly removed. The keyboard and translation features are safe for family use, and no typed content is ever stored or shared.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant updates, we will notify you via in-app notice or on our website at fexosolutions.com.
