This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it when you use our mobile application on iOS and Android.

By downloading and using Fexo SpeedoMeter, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

Data You Generate

This data is generated from your trips and stored locally on your device only. It never leaves your phone unless you choose to share it.

Location & GPS Data

GPS is the core of Fexo SpeedoMeter. Here is exactly how we handle your location:

What We Access

• Real-time GPS coordinates — used to calculate your live speed, distance, and trip duration while the app is active.
• GPS accuracy data — displayed in-app (e.g. "Accuracy: 5m") so you know signal quality.

What We Do NOT Do

• We do not upload your GPS coordinates to any server.
• We do not track your location in the background when you close the app.
• We do not share your location with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party.
• We do not build a profile of your regular routes or travel patterns.

How We Use Your Data

• To power the speedometer: Real-time GPS data calculates your live speed displayed on the gauge.
• To record trips: Distance, duration, average speed, and max speed are logged for your Trip History.
• To provide speed alerts: Your set speed limit threshold triggers an in-app warning when exceeded.
• To improve the app: Anonymous crash logs and usage analytics help us fix bugs and improve features.
• To personalize your experience: Your chosen theme color, unit preference (km/h or mph), and settings are saved locally.

WE WILL NEVER:

• Sell your personal data or GPS history to any third party
• Use your data to serve targeted ads
• Share your trip records with insurance companies or governments
• Access your location when the app is not in use

Storage & Security

On-Device Storage: All trip history, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. We operate no remote database containing your personal trip data.

Crash Reporting: Anonymous crash diagnostics are transmitted securely via Firebase Crashlytics using encrypted HTTPS connections. No personal or location data is included in these reports.

Data Deletion: You can delete all stored data at any time by:

• Clearing trip history from within the app settings
• Clearing app data via your device Settings → Apps → Fexo SpeedoMeter
• Uninstalling the app, which removes all local data permanently

Third-Party Services

We use a minimal set of trusted third-party tools strictly for maintaining app quality:

Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy frameworks. Since all personal data stays on your device, exercising your rights is straightforward:

• Right to Access: Your trip history and settings are always accessible within the app.
• Right to Deletion: Delete all trip history in-app, or clear all app data via device settings.
• Right to Opt Out: Disable location permission to stop GPS tracking at any time.
• Right to Opt Out of Personalized Ads: Use your device's advertising settings to opt out of interest-based ads served by AdMob.
• No Discrimination: Exercising privacy rights does not affect your ability to use the app.

Fexo SpeedoMeter is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

The app's GPS features are intended for use by adults in vehicles and should only be used under appropriate supervision.
